Your new firmA well-established Manchester-based firm of nationally renowned chartered accountants and business advisers has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Semi Senior. With over 100 years of experience and expertise in getting the right tax and financial structures, this firm operates in sectors ranging from private wealth and owner-managed businesses to professional firms and consulting businesses. It is a perfect opportunity for a hard-working and highly motivated individual to be a part of a continually growing firm, whilst being exposed to high-profile clients to progress in their career. This job has arisen due to continuous growth within their team and relocation to a new, purpose-designed office in Manchester.Your new roleYou will be joining a specialist team of audit professionals who you can both learn and develop from to help you achieve upmost success in your new role. Your day-to-day duties will consist of assisting the team on audit assignments for varying clients from OMB's to SME's, partnerships and more. You will assist in the planning of the audit and work significantly on the fieldwork stage. You will be offering information to clients whilst working closely with them and identifying new service lines for them. Other responsibilities consist of drafting and completing files for year-end financial statements. You will also be getting experience of training and assisting juniors, taking them on audits.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in practice, doing audit work in all stages of the audit or extensive knowledge of a certain stage; previous account experience would be desired but is not mandatory. You must also be part qualified in your ACCA or ACA professional qualifications; finalists will also be accepted. Other skills required would be good interpersonal skills, that you can demonstrate when meeting clients and maintaining those already existing relationships, or new ones in your form.
