Your new firmYou will be joining a well renowned Accountancy firm located in Manchester City Centre who are looking to appoint an Audit Semi Senior to their experienced and growing Audit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a progressive firm, whilst being amongst a supportive and close-knit team. With over 100 years experience, they specialise in tax, accountancy, audit, insolvency, start-ups and more, working with a varying client portfolio of SMEs, groups and sole traders across the North West. This audit job has arisen due to ongoing internal growth within the firm.Your new roleYou will be joining a specialist team of audit professionals who you can both learn and develop from to help you achieve upmost success in your new role. Your day-to-day duties will consist of assisting the team on audit assignments for varying clients from SMEs, sole traders, groups and more. You will assist in the planning of the audit and work significantly on the fieldwork stage, where you will take a lead on to further your current experience and assist junior members. You will be offering information to clients whilst working closely with them and identifying new service lines for them. What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in practice, doing audit work in all stages of the audit or extensive knowledge of a certain stage; previous accounts experience would be desired but is not mandatory. You must also be part qualified in your ACCA or ACA professional qualifications; finalists will also be accepted. Other skills required would be good interpersonal skills, that you can demonstrate when meeting clients and maintaining those already existing relationships, or new ones your form.
