Your new firmYou will be joining a leading independent practice located in the centre of Manchester, who have been established for over 60 years. With services ranging from accounts, audit and corporate finance to payroll, business start-ups and more, your professional career can really see some strong, positive growth. With a strong presence across the north-west, the client portfolio predominantly consists of OMBs, international businesses and groups, with turnovers varying from £15 million to £750 million. This is the perfect opportunity to further your current audit experience and adapt this to leading a team.Your new roleYou will be joining and overseeing a specialist team of audit professionals who you will assist and be involved with daily to achieve upmost success in your new role. Your day-to-day duties will consist of assisting the team on audit assignments for varying clients from OMB's to SME's, partnerships and more. You will assist in all stages of the audit, ensuring other members of the team are assisted to complete the planning of the audit and working significantly on the fieldwork stage. You will be offering information to clients whilst working closely with them and identifying new services lines for them. Other responsibilities consist of drafting and completing files for year-end financial statements. What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need previous experience within practice, doing audit work in all stages of the audit; previous accounts experience would be desired but is not mandatory. You must also be a finalist in your ACCA or ACA professional qualifications. Other skills required would be good interpersonal skills, that you can demonstrate when meeting clients and maintaining those already existing relationships, or new ones in your form, along with prior experience managing a team.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a salary between £34,000 - £44,000 ,DOE, with the opportunity to learn and develop in a leading firm where you can really see your career develop.
