Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of Defendant/Claimant costs files
- Draft points of dispute, bills of costs and replies
- Skilfully negotiate costs offers
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in the insurance sector (RTA, Employment/Public Liability, Industrial Disease, Clinical Negligence)
- Good working knowledge of the Fixed Recoverable Costs regime
- Advocacy experience (interim applications, cost case management, detailed assessment hearings)
- Expertise in costs case management (cost budgets, budget discussion reports)
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Proficiency in drafting bills of costs, points of dispute and schedules
