About the Role:

Our client, a Legal 500 law firm in Manchester, is seeking a skilled Cost Draftsperson to join its established costs department. This role involves supporting senior case handlers with drafting requirements in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft formal bills for detailed assessment
Prepare N260 statements of costs and risk assessments
Investigate disbursement liabilities and review client ledger
Work to WIP targets and estimated completion dates

Requirements:

2 to 10 years of drafting experience in the claimant personal injury sector
Legal qualification (LLB, GDL, LPC) desirable
Proficiency with Proclaim and Costs Master software
