- Drafting formal bills for inter partes detailed assessment.
- Preparing N260 statements of costs and risk assessments.
- Completing Precedent S and Q documents and initiating Detailed Assessment proceedings.
- Investigating disbursement liabilities and maintaining accurate client ledger information.
- Working to WIP targets and adhering to deadlines set by supervisors.
- 2 to 10 years' experience in costs drafting within claimant personal injury sector.
- Legal qualification (LLB, GDL, LPC) desirable.
- Proficient in drafting Precedent H, R, and Q, and finalising bills in Multi Track and budgeted cases.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Civil Procedures Rules and Detailed Assessment process.
- Experience with Proclaim Case Management System and Costs Master software preferred.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
- Competitive salary (£30,000 to £50,000) based on experience.
- Standard hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Friday 8:30am-5pm.
- 3/2 hybrid working pattern post probation.
