Development Accountant | Housing Association | Agile Working and Excellent Benefits | 12 Month FTC

Overview:

Castlefield Recruitment are partnering exclusively with a North West based Housing Association in order to recruit a Development Accountant on a 12 month FTC basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation who truly live their values on a day-to-day basis.Key Responsibilities Include;

  • Preparing monthly financial reports to monitor development spending and grant income, and projected development costs compared to approved program totals
  • Reconciling monthly development monitoring reports to ledger balances
  • Reviewing development scheme appraisals and approve acquisition property appraisals comparing results to the Investment Framework criteria
  • Managing cash flow, banking and treasury aspects and review of bank reconciliations. Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly corporate cash flows
  • Assisting in the preparation of Component Accounting records for completed development schemes and acquisition properties

The Person;

  • Relevant professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA (desirable)
  • Social Housing experience (essential)
  • Development / Treasury experience (essential)
