They are now recruiting for an experiencedEstimatorwith a background inroofing and claddingto join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, ensuring profitability and competitiveness while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure estimates align with project scope and requirements.
• Conduct site visits for accurate measurements and assessments.
• Monitor project costs and make adjustments to ensure financial targets are met.
• Provide advice and support to the project team on cost-effective solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and material costs to maintain competitive pricing.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator within the roofing and cladding industry (minimum of 5 years).
• Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and methods.
• Excellent numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with industry software and estimating tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A degree or equivalent in construction, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
