Otto James Consulting is supporting a Manchester based International brand in the recruitment of a Group Financial Accountant to focus on UK and Mainland Europe consolidated accounts. My client is a market-leader, with great reputation for customer service, that is investing heavily in growth, Multi-site optimisation and market acquisition.  The Role – Financial Accountant  A ‘high-profile’ role reporting to the Group Finance Director, interacting directly with the Board. The role will provide the successful candidate with a wide ranging position which has been designed to give you breadth and latitude not the norm in a standard Financial Accounting position.  Duties
  • Monthly - Preparation of month-end workings including consolidation reporting
  • Financial Reporting - Preparation of annual and half-year accounts
  • Preparation of group statutory accounts
  • Preparation of finance Board and Audit committee papers
  • M&A support - investment reporting and due diligence
  • Evaluate new operational and commercial initiatives
  • Provide analysis around capital expenditure investment decisions
  • Monitor financial performance in new business areas
  • Improve financial processes and controls.
