These roles present a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact financial operations while advancing your professional journey. About the Roles The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective management of significant financial processes and systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing financial systems and procedures, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Managing key financial processes, including payment workflows and reconciliations.
  • Leading the preparation of statutory accounts and other critical financial reports.
  • Providing technical accounting advice, including forecasting and reporting adjustments.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including policy teams and auditors.
  • Conducting reviews and validations of financial data submissions for group accounts.
  • Supporting the transition to new financial systems, including ERP implementation.
  • Maintaining robust financial controls and contributing to the organization’s overall financial health.

Essential Skills and Experience

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, etc.).
  • Experience preparing or auditing accounts under recognized accounting standards. · Advanced Excel skills and expertise in managing financial systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Proven ability to deliver results collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

  • External audit experience.
  • Knowledge of IFRS 9 and public sector financial frameworks.
