Embark on an exciting journey as the Financial Controller with our client, a FTSE listed Manufacturing business based in South Manchester.  In this 12 month fixed term role, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your financial expertise and strategic mindset to drive impactful projects and support the organisation's growth across the region.   Preferred Requirements:
  • Lead ad-hoc financial initiatives, including scenario modelling, cost optimization, and business performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial recommendations and support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the optimization of financial processes and automation efforts
  • Spearhead ad-hoc financial projects, leveraging your analytical skills and hands-on approach to execution.
  • Support regional financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide valuable insights.
  • Assist in due diligence, M&A activities, and financial restructuring, where applicable.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and data visualization tools to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with experience in a similar roe or big 4 background (desirable) with experience in audit, transaction services, or financial advisory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, where you can leverage your agility and adaptability.
