Financial Controller | Manchester | £65,000 - £75,000 + benefitsMarks Sattin are delighted to be working with a PE backed business to recruit for a dynamic and talented Financial Controller to join their team at a crucial time of their expansion. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing robust processes and controls across the business. You will manage a small, dedicated team and ensure the financial health and efficiency of our operations. Your expertise in foreign currency transactions will be vital as we expand our international footprint.Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial processes and controls.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Manage and mentor a small finance team.
  • Support strategic planning and decision-making with financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth.

About you

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant with a practice background.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and controls.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Expertise in foreign currency transactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
