Senior Management Accountant (6-Month FTC) - Manchester - Hybrid working - Tech Company
We’re looking for a qualified Senior Management Accountant for a 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate brings SME finance experience, preferably within the software or mobile telecoms sector, along with strong skills in Xero and advanced Excel. This role is key to supporting the financial operations and strategic planning.
What You’ll Do:

Manage the full accounting process (AP/AR/general ledger)

Ensure accurate financial reporting using Xero

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for AIM listed standards

Review monthly board packs and liaise with external parties

Analyse financial data to spot trends and growth opportunities

Assist with budgeting, reforecasting, and support the CFO on strategic projects

Drive financial improvements across cross-functional teams and maintain compliance
Who You Are:

ACA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)

Proven experience as a Management Accountant

Proficiency in Xero accounting software
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and confident using Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
-
Solid understanding of accounting principles/practices and financial regulations
-
Analytical mind with strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
