Management Accountant- part qualified
Location: Manchester- hybrid working
Salary: up to circa £42,000 DOE
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic and expanding company in Manchester. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to become an integral part of the finance team.
As a Management Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate and compliant financial and management accounting processes for the Group.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts pack with analysis and commentary
- Completing Month End Procedure
- Costs and variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Weekly revenue recognition analysis
- Monthly Cashflow analysis
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Support with budgeting
- Cash book reconciliation
- Petty Cash
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Support annual audits
- Manage Monthly payroll
- Project margin analysis
- Supporting completion of project 'Cost to Complete' spreadsheets
Skills & Attributes:
- ACCA or CIMA part qualified or AAT qualification with strong management accounting experience
- Ability to maintain own workload and to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to confidently and professionally liaise with all stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail and precision
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong excel skills
- Previous experience of working within manufacturing/engineering is highly desirable
