I have been retaibned by my client who is a fast growing services business based in the Manchester area. Due to a period of growth they are recruiting for a Management Accountant. This is a newly created role looking for a self starter who has confidence in their own abilities. This role reports directly to the Finance Director and offers a real opportunity to someone who is newly/recently qualified.
Duties include;
- Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
- Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
- Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
- Responsibility for cash flow management
- Assisting the monthly/year-end Group reporting
- Analysis of sales reports
- Adhoc reporting when needed
- Intercompany accounts to include international accounts
The right candidate will;
- ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Well experienced in all aspects of finance
- Be a self starter
- Have experience of end to end management accounts preparation
- Have experience of all statutory processes
- Be looking for a role that will be rewarding working in a motivated team
- Have strong IT skills
- Be happy looking and changing current processes
