This role is ideal for a part-qualified or newly qualified professional in CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CIPFA, who is ready to step into a challenging environment that influences regional and national strategic priorities.Day-to-day of the role:- Perform management accounting tasks including balance sheet reconciliations, and consolidation of accounts.- Engage in month-end processes such as accruals and pre-payments using SAP.- Provide variance reporting and analysis to support decision-making across various projects.- Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to ensure financial insights and recommendations are communicated effectively.- Manage and submit claim forms for grants, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Part-qualified or qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CIPFA.- Strong experience in management accounting and month-end processes.- Proficient in using SAP and other financial systems.- Excellent analytical skills and ability to perform complex reconciliations.- Demonstrated experience in challenging external teams on financial decisions.- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
