- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Inputting invoices – more granular level e.g. purchased claim (pre-issue/post issue/enforcement)
- Complete bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policy
- Claim cost tracking (cost trackers)
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Review Marketing spend against budget
- Prepare month end journals (expense reclass / interest calc / Investment reclasses / Investment Uplift).
- Preparing accrual and prepayment schedules
- Support the production of monthly management accounts
- Support the production of monthly/quarterly reports
- Prepare and gather information to assist with the external audit
- Preparing claim reconciliations
- Variance Analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ACCA/CIMA PQ.
- Strong academic background. 2:1 Degree in Math/Finance.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to speak to people at all levels.
- Previous experience within a busy working environment, ideally within professional or financial services.
