Robert Walters are excited to be in exclusive partnership with a global market leading business as they seek to appoint an ambitious Management Accountant to join their high calibre finance team. This role includes handling reporting, analysis, board pack creation, audit assistance and stakeholder management, across a global remit.

This opportunity will see you partaking in regular project work as well as BAU within a high calibre and highly progressive culture. You will join an international business known for first class training & development, with dozens of examples of individuals seeing continued success & promotions & now in senior leadership positions. You'll also have the benefit of working in a social culuture within a business who promote positive work-life balance. This role is Manchester based with hybrid working.

The Role:

  • Produce board packs for utilisation in c-suite meetings.
  • Produce analytical review packs for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliation and reporting.
  • Build strong working relationships with individuals both within & external to finance.
  • Facilitate delivery and audit of revenue for multiple global entities.
  • Drive continuous improvements around a variety of accounting methods.
  • Assist in the lead up to audit (there is a separate statutory accounting team).
  • Create, manipulate and analyse complex datasets.
  • Contribute to key projects on a regular basis.
  • Post, report and reconcile accounting records.
  • Own balance sheet reconciliations for revenue related activity.
  • Be hands on to remediate risks on processes & controls.

You as the successful individual:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Ambitious, keen to learn & progress within a growing business.
  • Experience of working in a high-volume data driven business, working with vast and complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills & attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and handle complex datasets & spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication skills & a naturally commercial and social nature.
  • Skill in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
