The Management Accountant will be a professionally qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ICA), and a minimum of 3 years' experience operating at management accountancy level in a multi-currency environment (passed finalists with similar levels of experience will be considered) Experience in manufacturing operations would be advantageous.
- Hands on.
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to work outside of core UK hours to support the US business is essential
- Ability to self-manage workload
- Flexibility to prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrable experience of full P&L production is essential, including preparation of journals with a focus on matching costs and revenues (accruals and prepayments)
- Practical experience of balance sheet reconciliations is essential.
- Confident in dealing with people at all levels, and the ability to build strong relationships.
- You must be able to demonstrate success in a similar role.
- Experience with Sage 300 an advantage; training will be given where required. MS Dynamics experience will also prove be useful.
- Knowledge of US taxes (USE tax / Sales Tax / Income Tax) would be advantageous, though not necessary.
- Track record of process improvements to streamline business processes or improve efficiencies.
