Your new companyWith a strong presence in their sector, this company prides themselves on working to high standards, being customer-focused and continuing to be innovative.Your new roleWorking for the Finance Manager and Finance Director, you will be producing management accounts for a division as we as providing various reports to the group. Taking ownership of the management accounting, you will prepare and review the monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations as well as assist with accurate and robust forecasting and analysis of budgets and actuals. Liaison with stakeholders, communicating effectively with both head office, group and operations teams is essential. You will also begin to oversee two indirect reports, providing guidance and coaching where appropriate.What you'll need to succeedWith a strong track record gained in management accounts, you will have a proven skill set in monthly accounting and reporting along with some exposure to budgeting and cost control. Therefore, it is likely you will be studying for your professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA) and be in the latter stages. Able to work under pressure with complex controls and procedures, you will have the ability to multitask, work under pressure and demonstrate your self-confidence, resilience and team work.
