What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our brilliant & supportive team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with management accounts, annual audits, liaising with external auditors, preparing accounting papers for new business lines & client contracts, among others. This role requires someone who is proactive, delivery focussed and willing to learn and take responsibility.

  • Assist with the monthly management accounts process, including preparing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, complete with variance analysis and insightful commentary.
  • Assist with the coordination of the annual audit and financial statement preparation process for the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist in preparation and review of statutory returns.
  • Assist with the implementation of new IFRSs and other reporting standards applicable to the Group, including non-financial measures such as climate reporting.
  • Prepare accounting papers for new business lines & client contracts.
  • Involve in ad hoc financial reporting and financial systems projects, such as identifying & implementing improvements in reporting and consolidation processes.
  • Review general ledger account reconciliations and monitor/ challenge outcomes.
  • Prepare and post consolidation adjustments.
  • Assist with the coordination and preparation of the budget for the Group.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) and ideally moving from practice for the first time. You will bring proven relevant financial accounting experience along with advanced Excel skills and strong communication abilities. You will also be prepared to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and have a proactive, delivery-focused attitude. A willingness to learn and take responsibility is key to succeed in this role.
