Robert Walters are excited to be representing a global market leader in the healthcare sector as they look to appoint a motivated & hardworking Management Accountant to join their team. This opportunity offers the unique chance to join an international organisation with revenues exceeding $5 Billion.

As a Management Accountant, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of monthly management accounts. Your keen eye for detail will be utilised in preparing balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and posting accruals and prepayments, as well as preparing payroll journals. You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining robust controls and processes. Your collaborative nature will shine as you work closely with the Financial Accountant and External Auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts.

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L analysis and commentary.
  • Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with a view to improve processes where required.
  • Identifying and posting accruals and prepayments.
  • Preparation of payroll journals.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Developing and maintaining robust controls and processes.
  • Work closely with Financial Accountant and External Auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Assisting with implementing new processes and procedures.

What you bring:

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years' experience in Management Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel.
  • Oracle experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • A pro-active approach to your work and the drive to challenge and improve existing processes/controls.
  • High attention to detail with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Highly organised, diligent and structured individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
