An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a qualified Management Accountant to join a fantastic client of ours in the Manchester area.

Management Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights into business performance
- Perform variance analysis, identifying key drivers of financial performance and areas for improvement
- Support decision-making by providing financial advice and strategic recommendations to senior management
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements
- Monitor and manage costs, including identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Assist in managing the company’s financial systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
Management Accountant Requirements:
- A qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Strong experience in management accounting and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in Manufacturing is a plus (if applicable)
