Description

The Payroll Specialise role is initially a temporary contract and will be Hybrid- 3 days in Didsbury office/2 remote. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the end to end processing of the UK payroll.
  • Processing and collating monthly payroll data for all internal UK staff (and UK contractors inside IR35), such as new starters, salary increases, commissions & bonuses and leavers
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), including Real Time Information (RTI) submissions and other mandatory tax reports within the UK.
  • Calculate and process accurate payroll tax deductions, including income tax, National Insurance contributions, and other statutory deductions, and submit payments to HMRC on time
  • Responsible for providing all outsourced payroll providers with the relevant payroll information to pay our employees based in EU and USA.
  • Benefits Administration to ensure new joiners and leavers are processed accurately and timely
  • Maintain accurate and organised payroll records, including employee information, tax codes, pay rates, and other payroll-related data for all group offices and employees.
  • Investigate and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies or issues, collaborating with relevant departments to address employee queries effectively.
  • Working closely with the People team to ensure the accuracy and approval of all payroll requests (such as bonuses and overtime). Ensuring the end to end payroll process promotes a good employee experience.
  • Ensure that pension obligations are met across all entities.

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

  • Have previous experience Running end to end UK Payroll
  • Manual Payroll calculations experience
  • Be able to consider a temporary role initially
  • Be able to commute 3 days per week to Didsbury office in Manchester
