Role - Senior Group Accountant Location - Manchester Salary - Between £65,000 and £73,000 + benefitsMarks Sattin are currently recruiting for a highly acquisitive PE backed organisation in their search for a Senior Group Accountant to work out of their offices based in the city centre of Manchester on a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong technical accounting background. This role would ideally suit a practice trained individual from either an audit or transaction services background. Any exposure to M & A accounting would be beneficial and the individual will need to have strong consolidation experience. Key duties for the Senior Group Accountant role will involve the following:

  • Assist with due-diligence pre-acquisition
  • Preparation of financial statements for M & A targets
  • IFRS analysis
  • Review and support with budgeting and forecasting
  • Balance sheet reporting
  • Lead internal audit process
  • Build strong relationships internally with the wider group
