Description

  • Oversee and manage the entire accounting department
  • Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
  • Coordinate and direct budgeting, procurement and financial planning
  • Develop strategies to maximise ROI and meet the company's financial objectives
  • Coordinate auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organisational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities
  • Analyse the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed
  • Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions

Profile

A successful 'Senior Management Accountant' should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CMA, CGA)
  • Management Accountant, Accounting Supervisor or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills
