Axon Moore have partnered with another key client in Manchester who have experienced incredible growth over the last 3 years, making 10+ acquisitions on the back of PE investment. They are looking to hire a Systems Accountant on a full time permanent basis.

This is a key hire requiring someone from an accounting background who has a passion for IT & Systems, to help migrate all Group companies onto 1 Finance platform.

You will have access to all senior stakeholders within the Finance department, being that dependable link between Finance & IT when it comes to ERP, process improvements, system configuration, data migrationetc.

Other duties include:
  • Assist the Financial Controller with the setup of new accounting systems and provide support on systems development both at transactional and management level reporting.
  • Partner with all stakeholders within the Finance department, becoming a key link between Finance & IT
  • Continually identifying risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout the process
  • Maintain, update and own process documentation, agreeing any changes with the necessary business stakeholders and process owners
  • Create new analysis and reporting as required
  • Revenue and cost recognition
  • Develop a deep understanding of project budgets and requirements
  • Drive process improvements, control solutions, execute projects related to standardisation, quality improvement, compliance or simplification
  • Provide strategic financial planning advice to other areas of the business
Ideally candidates will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) however QBE/part qualified candidates will be considered in addition to a proven track record of process improvement / system implementation.
