An exciting position has arisen for a Systems accountant to join a well established software company based in Salford. The purpose of the role is primarily to implement an industry leading end to end ERP system application.My client is searching for a candidate with Management Account experience who is looking to build a career working on within the soft-wear and technology industry. The client would like the candidate to be able to demonstrate that they've been a super user on an accounting application and/or has trained new staff on how to use ERP applications.The successful candidate will also be expected to show flexibility and eagerness to assist across the other teams in the business as required for both learning and business need.Although most customer interaction has moved to virtual sessions this role will require occasional travel to client sites including the possibility of trips abroad (within Europe) which could last several days at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
- New customer implementations
- Functionality implementation for existing customers
- End user training and documentation
- Drive continuous improvements
Required attributes:
- Management Accountant experience
- Aptitude to lead multiple concurrent projects
- Experience as super user on an accounting application and/or has trained new staff on the application
- Ability to provide a professional and enthusiastic service, ensuring that any interactions clients have with the company are positive
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire and ability to become an expert in complex applications
- Experience in a customer facing position
Desirable attributes:
- AAT or CIMA qualification
- Knowledge of CODAS and/or Oil or LPG downstream distribution industry
- Previous experience of working within a software house
- Account Management experience
- Business Analysis experience
- Project Management experience
