Your new firm Your new firm are a well established top 20 accountancy practice based in Manchester City Centre. This firm has a number of offices in the North and wider UK, with their focus on supporting OMBs with a range of business advisory services. The Manchester office in particular has gone through a strong period of growth in the last 2 years and are now looking to strengthen their tax offering with a new senior appointment. Your new roleIn your new role you will be lead the tax function in Manchester, providing both managerial and technical support to a growing tax team. The tax portfolio itself is made up of a number of OMBs, entrepreneurs, directors, family run businesses, SMEs and some large corporate entities. You will work with the current tax team providing a range of tax advisory services. This role is key hire as part of the national structure with the long term plan for this hire to take a key role in the tax service line nationally. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role you need to come from a qualified tax professional with a number of years experience providing tax services to OMBs. You need to be experienced in the North West market and be capable of running and managing a tax department.
