VAT Manager - Manchester/Hybrid - £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Marks Sattin are collaborating with a leading advisory practice, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VAT Manager to join their growing environment. This role provides the chance to work with a diverse client base across sectors, including large corporates, charities, private wealth, and mid-market businesses.

The team advises clients on a wide variety of VAT issues, ranging from compliance and cross-border transactions to supply chain treatments and complex liability matters. The role offers a balance of client interaction, technical challenges, and opportunities for business development.

The Role:

As a VAT Manager, you will work closely with an established team, supporting the delivery of high-quality services and contributing to the management and development of the VAT team nationwide. You will also collaborate with other teams across the business to provide comprehensive support to clients.

Day-to-Day responsibilities include:

  • Managing VAT advisory engagements across sectors, resolving technical and complex issues.
  • Delivering client service through meetings, calls, and correspondence.
  • Supporting the preparation and review of VAT returns for a range of clients.
  • Developing innovative VAT solutions and maintaining excellent technical standards.
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development initiatives.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in VAT across sectors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ATT/ACA/ CTA Qualified or working towards
