- Supporting the Financial Controller with the day-to-day tasks required within a busy finance department.
- Sales / purchase ledger
- Month end duties
- Bank reconciliation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in AR
- Credit control
- Following and using Accounts systems
- Providing administrative support to the team
- Working closely with individuals across the business at all levels
- Supporting the Assistant Accountant
- At least 12 months experience in finance, ideally in a similar role
- High level of self-motivation
- Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s – Pivot tables)
- Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions
- Computer literate with an aptitude for numbers and different systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
