We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant for a vital role in our Accounting & Finance department, based in Manchester. This position requires individuals who are efficient, detail-oriented, and have a strong background in financial transactions.

Description
- Handling and processing financial transactions.
- Purchase Ledger management
- Sales Ledger and credit control management
- Assisting in financial reports and statements preparation.
- Processing payroll, managing pension contributions, statutory deductions and respond to staff queries
- Support FD in the management of the month end processes
- Preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT report and payment
Profile
A successful Candidate should have:
- Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (AAT/CIMA/ACCA)
- Proven experience in sales / purchase ledger / accounts assistant
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks (Desirable)
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
