We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team, which is growing exponentially in the semiconductor industry with offices in the US and abroad. This role focuses on data entry and fundamental accounting tasks to support daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling physical goods trading transactions and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

This position does not require leadership or management responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, task-oriented environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter financial data, including invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations, into the accounting system.
  • Handle communication with customers' and vendors' accounting departments to resolve invoicing, payment, and account-related inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Enter payment information for ACH/Wire transfers and prepare payments for directors' approval.
  • Understand and manage the returns process, including handling Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), tracking credits and debits with vendors and customers, and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation.
  • Review and manage shipping invoices, ensuring duties and taxes are calculated accurately, and resolving any discrepancies with shippers.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and organized accounting records.
  • Manage time effectively and work independently to meet deadlines.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience with data entry and financial transactions related to physical goods trading.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and logistics partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
