�? Our client, is seeking a talented and experienced Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is a temporary position for 1 month, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to their important work. ??

  • Provide invaluable administrative support to selected senior fundraising staff, assisting with prospect and donor pipelines.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring smooth logistics and preparing briefing documents for key stakeholders at the organisation.
  • Offer secretarial and administrative support to senior members of staff, including diary management and meeting coordination.
  • Make arrangements for alumni, donor, and prospective donor visits, handling bookings, travel, catering, and parking.
  • Manage donor-related enquiries, ensuring prompt and efficient response to everyone's satisfaction.
  • Assist with proofreading and formatting fundraising proposals, stewardship reports, and other written materials, leveraging specialist software as required.
  • Research and compile project information to support proposals, funding applications, and stewardship reports.
  • Provide financial reports and updates for specific gifts and fundraising projects, in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Maintain data quality by managing database updates, adhering to relevant policies and regulations.
  • Process expenses for senior staff members and provide general financial administrative support.
  • Support various events organised by different teams within the organisation, from planning to post-event follow-up.
  • Cover divisional reception and main alumni email account when necessary, fostering efficient communication during peak times or staff absences.
  • Perform other duties as required by the organisation's Senior Management Team.
  • A good educational background, with at least GCSE-level qualifications in Mathematics and English.
  • Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment, with experience using databases.
  • Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with a willingness to learn additional applications.
  • A keen eye for detail, accuracy, and strong proofreading skills.
  • Solid numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Experience in committee servicing and minute taking.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Tact, discretion, and sensitivity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • A positive attitude, excellent customer service ethos, and a friendly approach.
  • A team player with a track record of achieving shared goals and supporting colleagues in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of fundraising, philanthropy, and charitable giving, along with a passion for education and research.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours when required.
  • Experience using the Raiser's Edge database.
  • Familiarity with legacy fundraising administration.
  • Previous work in higher education or the charity sector, ideally in fundraising, marketing, or customer service.
  • Knowledge of Campus Solutions and Oracle Financials.
