Contracts and Governance Support Officer

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a client operating across the Transportation sector, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, such as Local Authorities, Train Operating Companies, Network Rail, TfN, and the DfT, to drive positive outcomes.

Pay rate: £220.00 - £240.00 Day Rate (up to 3 months, with the potential to increase to 6 months)

Location: Manchester (Hybrid working arrangement)

Role:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with our client that is looking for a Contract Support Officer to join an established legal service team working collaboratively internally alongside a team of executive & personal assistants.

The role focuses on providing quality assurance to our clients' decision-making processes and meetings whilst also delivering efficient administrative support across internal teams. This is underpinned by a broad professional understanding of relevant guidelines and frameworks laid out by governing bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper maintenance of all relevant documents and archives relating to decision-making meetings.
  • Providing general administrative support across the organisation as necessary and directed by the line manager. This will involve managing internal stakeholder expectations and ensuring that professional working relationships can be built with senior members within the organisation.
  • Experience working independently to ensure that deadlines can be met so that the legal service teams' functions & processes can operate appropriately, efficiently and transparently.

Experience required:

  • Administration experience, with focused expertise on producing meeting minutes, ensuring that everything has been discussed, and forward actions are reflected and communicated in said documents.
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management & communication experience, with the ability to ensure that complicated topics can be handled appropriately and democratically without political bias.
  • The ideal professional would need prior client-side experience, ideally within the public sector- examples include Network Rail, Transport for the North (TfN), the Department for Transport (DfT), Transport for London (TfL), Train Operating Companies, the NHS, Local Authorities, or the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
