Legal Administrative Assistant - Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading international law firm as a Legal Administrative Assistant in their Manchester office. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing essential administrative support to a busy legal team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with document production, formatting, and file management
  • Printing emails and attachments as needed.
  • Handling small photocopying and scanning tasks, as well as coordinating large-scale document production, courier, and reprographics requests.
  • Processing travel invoices, expense claims, and maintaining records.
  • Managing payments for Fee Earners’ professional memberships.
  • Assisting with admin tasks for financial transactions.
  • Supporting simple file openings, including conflict checks and compliance with money laundering regulations, in coordination with the Office of General Counsel.
  • Organising and maintaining document management systems, including file closures, archiving, and ensuring paper-based documents are stored electronically.
  • Updating and maintaining client and business contact records in Dynamics, including adding new contacts, updating details, and tracking business development activities.
  • Conducting Searchflow, SIM, and other Land Registry searches
  • Performing company searches
  • Preparing and managing Laserforms
  • Completing Land Registry application forms
About You:
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Willing to learn and understand different cultures as well as have the required patience to ensure good working relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A proactive and professional approach with strong communication skills
