Job Title: Freedom of Information Support Officer

Location: Trafford

Contract Details: Temporary (one month)

Salary: £13.98 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to Freedom of Information requests within prescribed statutory timescales
  • Facilitate and process Adults Data Subject Access Requests
  • Provide general administrative support to the Social Care Teams
  • Produce statistical information to contribute to senior management quality monitoring and performance reports

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Minimum 12 months of relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act
  • Familiarity with Social and Health Care functions and Education Services
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Excellent customer service skills with an empathetic and patient approach

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in coordinating resources and organising meetings
  • Familiarity with diary management, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
  • Knowledge of various computer software packages and systems
