This is a high-profile role in which you will buy for one of their largest departments. You will be responsible for managing your area and working alongside the merchandising team to plan your ranges. There will be regular travel on buying trips and you will work closely with Design to interpret key trends. You will be creative and innovative with a strong ability to spot products and trends. Enthusiasm and a love for this product area is a must.

The successful candidate will come from a fine jewellery or sterling silver background, and you will have a strong commercial and strategic approach.

You will be expected to :
Work with Design to deliver therange, interpreting key trends
Manage and deliver KPIs on margin and profit
Work independently on product development and quality control
Work with the Head of Buying to create strategic plans
Ensure effective communication between all levels of the department
Report key information in trading meetings
Respond to competitor analysis
Complete buying trips and some store visits
Ensure sales are maximized and in line with the company strategy

What we need from you:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Sterling Silver and Fashion Jewellery market.
At least 2 years experience as a Junior Buyer or Senior Assistant Buyer with Jewellery, preferably Sterling Silver.
Someone who can work to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the wider team.
