Description
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Managing agendas, appointments and meetings for upper management.
- Assisting colleagues whenever necessary.
- Supporting budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Creating and updating records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
- Submitting timely reports and preparing presentations as assigned.
- Managing phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.).
- Tracking stocks of office supplies and placing orders when necessary.
Profile
A successful 'Office Administrator' should have:
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Qualifications in business administration or a related field will be an advantage.
