Overview:

We are excited to offer a brand new opportunity for a Content Lead to join an innovative marketing agency in Manchester. The agency works with a diverse client base across both B2B and B2C industries, helping them shape and deliver compelling digital marketing strategies.

In this role, you'll have the chance to lead the creation of content strategies that take customers through the entire funnel—from awareness to decision-making—driving meaningful results. You will work closely with the team of marketers, designers, automation, and SEO experts to deliver content that not only resonates but converts.

The Role:

The Content Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of multi-channel content strategies for various clients.
  • Brainstorming full-funnel content campaigns, from awareness to purchase, including SEO research.
  • Writing and overseeing high-quality blogs, e-books, website pages, social media posts, and email marketing content.
  • Collaborating with the SEO team to ensure content aligns with search intent and is optimised for target keywords.
  • Managing and executing content calendars for multiple clients.
  • Monitoring and analysing content performance, pivoting tactics as needed.
  • Acting as a trusted content expert for clients, advising on best practices and campaign strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation or content marketing, ideally in a marketing agency environment.
  • Proven ability to create content that guides potential customers through the entire marketing funnel.
  • Strong writing skills across a range of content types, including blogs, e-books, social media, and email.
  • Experience with SEO research and tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
  • The ability to brainstorm, plan, and execute full campaigns across awareness, consideration, and decision stages.
  • Comfortable presenting content strategies to clients and internal teams.

Nice-to-have Experience:

  • A proven track record in leading or contributing to multimedia content such as webinars, podcasts, and video.
  • Experience managing junior copywriters or content creators.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and integrating content into campaigns.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
