Architectural Technologist Job in Greater Manchester

Architectural Technologist job in Greater Manchester. You would be joining a growing practice based just 20 minutes from the city centre of Manchester, they are now looking for skilled architectural technologists to join the practice to work on their large-scale residential projects including social housing and high-rise buildings.

The practice currently has a headcount of just over 20 covering 2 offices across the northwest with offices in Liverpool and Manchester, their portfolio consists of large-scale residential, social housing later living, education, office, and one-off bespoke homes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical construction information on the project
  • Create detailed drawings, models, and specifications using Revit
  • Liaise with external consultants, contractors, clients, and shareholders
  • Reporting to Directors and Senior team
  • Use your advanced knowledge of the UK building regulations and legislation and codes of practice
  • Lead projects from concept and planning through to completion and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in practice experience
  • Relevant Architectural Technology, HND/HNC will also be considered
  • Experience delivering large-scale projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and desirably also proficient in Revit but they can train the successful candidate
  • Experience across all RIBA stages
  • Effective communicator with team, clients and stakeholders.
