Senior Facade Designer (Remote Working)Full Time, PermanentManchester£45,000 P.A to £55,000 P.A (DOE)
Our client is a leading façade contractor in the UK that design and install a variety of systems including curtain walling, specialised renders, rainscreen cladding and steel framing systems. They have the ability to handle a full building envelope as well as the full project cycle from initial design to installation, working with their team of specialist project managers to ensure a quality finish.
Their excellent reputation has seen their growth rate rapidly continue year on year with more and more projects being secured in Manchester, where they are now growing their existing team to support their continued work. Due to this growth, a Senior Façade Designer is required to join their existing design team and lead projects.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of prestigious multi-million pound projects across the industrial, commercial, and residential industries. The ideal applicant must have experience producing detailed drawings for a variety of different façade systems, especially rainscreen cladding.
This is a remote working role with the requirement to attend on site projects based in Manchester once or twice a week.
What's involved for the Senior Façade Designer…
- Produce detailed CAD drawings for construction teams
- Investigate technical issues and provide prompt, viable solutions
- Produce layouts, technical reports and working drawings to agreed timescales
- Attend site project meetings
- Review drawings
- Assisting with tender stage
What you'll need…
- Façade or building envelope design experience
- Rainscreen cladding design experience ESSENTIAL
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
- Experience working on commercial projects
- Ability to deal directly with clients, consultants, and fellow team members
- Revit experience beneficial but not essential
