My client is a reputable Manufacturer in Middleton, who represent two brands. They are looking for a dedicated Accounts Clerk to join their busy accounts / finance department. This role is permanent 37.5 hours per weekand isdirectly employed by my client.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for wide a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions under general supervision.
- Coding and posting cash receipts electronically while identifying trends in payment differences
- Code and process accounts payable for selected companies
- Monitor customer accounts for past-due payments including making business to business collection calls
- Month-end closing responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical accounting, high school diploma and have technology aptitude
- Associate degree in accounting or business, a plus
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and knowledge of accounting software, a plus
- Team-player with a strong sense of urgency
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
