GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Programme Business Analyst to our client based in Manchester. The Programme Business Analyst will work with a leading Public Health organisation to support the delivery of a new efficiency programme. They will analyse current processes and procedures to make recommendations to optimise efficiency.

Main Duties of the Programme Business Analyst:

  • Work closely with operational business teams to identify opportunities for standardisation and alignment.
  • Undertake process mapping to document accurate and comprehensive process models
  • Translate process models into improved process options and proposals using improvement methodology
  • Conduct a time and motion study in each process and procedure to baseline associated times and costs
  • Support the design of programme performance metrics, including operational definitions and data collection plans



Role Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience
  • Qualification in relevant process mapping and improvement frameworks (eg. Lean or Six Sigma)
  • Experience of quality improvement methodology underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant practical experience
  • Experience in a business analyst role for business/service process redesign
  • Experience working successfully with technical, clinical, and managerial leads in transformation programmes
  • Demonstrable experience gained in a health and/or social care environment.
