Senior Commercial Analyst - Manchester - £60-65k

Are you a skilled finance professional looking for a commercially focused role with real impact? We're working with a fast-paced, innovative business that's searching for a Senior Commercial Analyst - to join their team in Manchester.

This is a hybrid position, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The RoleReporting to the Head of Group Reporting, you'll work closely with the sales and customer service teams to deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a business partner to the commercial teams, including VPs of Sales.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly revenue reports, as well as interim and annual revenue disclosures.
  • Supporting pricing decisions and reviewing quarterly sales commissions.
  • Supervising the accounts receivable function, including managing customer credit limits.
  • Providing guidance on revenue recognition and implementing transfer pricing policies.
  • Monitoring revenue month-end closing and preparing trading updates.

What You'll BringTo succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (experience with Netsuite is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
  • A proactive approach and flexibility to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
