A major global law firm with a sector-driven and technology-focused approach, needs an established Business Development professional to play a key role partnering with colleagues across the firm to successfully implement BD activities.

Based in either Bristol, Edinburgh Glasgow, Manchester or Sheffield, the successful applicant will be joining a future facing firm who take a bold and agile approach to ensure their clients are able to face the future with confidence. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a business development team supporting the global Energy, Projects and Construction Practice Group and the Energy and Infrastructure Sectors. These market leading groups work for some of the firm’s largest clients and household names on high profile projects, transactions and disputes. You will enjoy a broad role that encompasses all aspects of the business development and marketing mix. On the business development side, you will be involved in the production of pitches for existing and prospective clients, support key account management and be responsible for the maintenance of firm’s databases. From a marketing perspective, the successful applicant will coordinate and promote thought leadership and prepare marketing materials and communications. The Business Development Executive will also support the timely production of directory and awards submissions and help with the execution of client events.

You will have previous marketing and business development experience gained in a similar role within a professional services firm. The Business Development Executive will also be a team player and strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with partners and staff at all levels within the firm. In addition, the ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and prioritising tasks as needed with excellent attention to detail.
