Role Overview:As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that empower our client’s decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights, leveraging Power BI for visualization and Azure Synapse for data warehousing and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models and ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into Azure Synapse.
- Develop interactive and user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize data performance and ensure data integrity and security across all platforms.
- Maintain and update existing BI solutions as needed and ensure their alignment with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, including data warehousing, data integration, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with other Azure data services, such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.
