In this role, the general manager is responsible for driving the operational and performance growth across multiple sites in the UK. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage the financial performance of the company, including overseeing P&L responsibilities and capital investments. You are actively involved in executing business strategies by analyzing weekly and monthly KPIs to ensure the company meets its targets. The General manager also interfaces with clients to understand local market needs and training requirements, while leading initiatives for sales and profit growth. You will focus on reducing costs through strategic supplier negotiations and improving operational efficiency, including reducing non-value-added activities through process mapping and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for this position is a senior management professional with at least five years of experience in a similar role within Engineering, Utilities, or Commercial Training Management. You will have a strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of driving results, as well as experience in managing and coaching teams to success.
