The Opportunity

The role
As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for Managing and driving EHS culture by leading the maintenance team and emphasising on corporate EHS policy and culture.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- To actively and effectively participate in EH&S activities, best practices initiation/sharing as well as drive continuous improvement in EHS topic.
- To lead team members to achieve the optimized maintenance planning and enable high performance Operations consistent with plant management strategy.
- To identify and drive need based development plan for the maintenance team.
- To drive plant predictive/preventive maintenance planning, scheduling as well as safe execution. This inclusive of Mechanical Integrity program. This should be done in cost effective manner without compromising on safety as well as quality goal.
- To drive plant reliability by constantly reviewing corrective maintenance data and effectiveness of predictive/preventive maintenance program (by using various tools – e.g. RCA,RBM, RCM, FMEA, etc. and inspection techniques – e.g. oil analyses, other NDT).
- To drive and execute need based facility related maintenance.
- To ensure all maintenance information (e.g. equipment history records and fault reports) is accurately and promptly updated and maintained in SAP as well as in other format.
- To ensure maintenance department related KPIs are tracked closely to find improvement opportunity .
- To ensure support and compliance to work process related to SAP, Management System(ISO 9001 & 14001), MOC, procurement.
- process and related corporate requirement such as Binding Technical Document(BTD).
- To support, work and align with cross functional departments to achieve company goal.
- To oversee projects / maintenance works and liaise with contractors to ensure work is carried out safely, smoothly and according to schedule.
- To ensure optimal technical store management via supporting Procurement process by keeping close focus in cost reduction with compromising safety as well as quality.
- To drive zero base maintenance budget process, ensuring justification, request, and implementation, reporting and tracking in line
- To review design, replace and install new equipment according to spare parts availability for obsoleted spares
- To drive TPM related activity in the department
- To identify, priorities and execute improvement ideas in various technical energy saving projects, spare part strategy, introduction of new vendors, contractors, contractor scopes and etc.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in a Maintenance management/lead role.
- Candidates from chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical manufacturing are highly preferred.
- Demonstration of leadership and managerial responsibility to maintain customer, site, and business needs.
- Possess a broad knowledge of plant design, production, project management, maintenance management, policies, and standards.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP.
- Mechanical integrity program experience and knowledge
- Strong computer / IT skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, IT-
- Network, Telecommunication, etc.)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving experience (both reactively and proactively).
It’s great if you also have the following
- Top Tier COMAH experience would be desirable
- Previous experience with Siemens PCS7
