About the Role

Recruit UK are working with a well-established Pension Advice firm in Manchester that provides professional and impartial advice across the UK. They are looking for a Trainee Pension Transfer Specialist to join their growing advice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a paraplanner with strong DB pension transfer experience who is looking to progress into an advisory role, with full training provided.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong technical understanding of Defined Benefit (DB) pension transfers and wants to move into a client-facing role. You will receive full support and training to develop into a Pension Transfer Specialist.

The role is hybrid, with office attendance required once a week after training, so candidates should live within a reasonable commute of Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn to provide pension transfer advice to clients after completing training.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver professional and impartial pension transfer advice.
  • Support the advice team in meeting business objectives and maintaining high service standards.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Strong Defined Benefit (DB) pension transfer knowledge and a passion for financial planning.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (minimum) plus AF7, AF3, G60, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Organised, target-driven, and eager to learn.
  • Experience in a paraplanning or technical pension transfer role is ideal.
